Joy, don’t you (or in some cases, didn’t you) just love (note the sarcasm) the middle of August. The time when the schools decide to send your parents calendars, lunch menus, and all the other stuff that tell you the end is near? I HATE it! It seems like Summer just started and its over already.
A little tidbit from the school year calendar also makes me wonder if teachers dread the start of school as much as the students do…
It’s little hints like that, which make me suspect they do. I mean, why would they include this in the school calender 3 times if it didn’t hold some meaning to them?
Oh, well. The Start of school is inevitable. (Sorry for the lack of updates. I will try and post more often. Shouldn’t be a problem when school starts though!)
What’s with the +1 days? We never got calendars… not until we got to school, anyway.
I have no idea, I was kinda wondering this myself.
Could that be conference days for teachers or something? (I just checked my district’s website, and they have 3 conference days- 2 in the first semester and 1 in the second, also)
My school district always sent calendars (including the number of days school is in session broken down my month) also…
I’m actually looking forward to school starting- when I’m away at school, my parents can’t bug me as much heh
