Meet Sasha
The last days have been crappy. But in order to keep this post somewhat upbeat, I won’t go into it. Just keep in mind if you are still curious, check out the last 3 posts, minus the Wizard of Oz one. Anyways…
Friday the 13th, like it said in the last post was crappy, so I when I got back from school, I fell right asleep. My mother woke me up because my grandma and my aunt were here; they were on their way to Albany to catch a plane the next morning (They’re in Myrtle Beach and didn’t take me!) After I woke up and they left, I turned on my computer and checked my mail etc, and I found a couple layouts for my sisters blog and one was of a dog. Out of nowhere she asked through AIM…
“Do you want a golden retriever?” I then replied with, “why> (note the type-o), then she said, “Do you?” I responded with “Kinda why?
Then, curious, I ran down to her room and my mom was laying on her bed and she told me they found a breeder outside Mansfield and we were going to go look at some puppies.
The next day, I woke up early and was excited all day (although I didn’t let on). My brother and sister however were ecstatic and could barely sit still. 3:00 FINALLY rolled around and we piled into the car and headed to Mansfield.
As the woman lived nearly an hour outside Mansfield (a two-hour trip for us), we met halfway in Wal-mart. We sat there and waited and waited, then finally the woman showed up.
In her car were 2 puppies and the father. We all got out of the car and looked at the puppies. They were so small! We looked at the two and we decided on the darker of the two; and as it was extremely cold, my sister held the puppy and wrapped her coat around the dog. It was so cute.
My mom did the paperwork and all the other stuff required (its a pure-breed dog!) and we came home. The trup home was rather uneventful as was the rest of the evening.
You would not believe how well behaved this dog is. Because it was an outside dog, it only goes outside to go to the bathroom (my mom LOVES this), and it doesn’t bark. Its extremely patient, but gets playful at times. An AMAZING dog.

I do still miss Gizmo though…

Oh my god, your dog is so so cute!! It’s worth the trip!
I think it really is a bonus that it doesn’t bark. I hate dogs that bark. LOL.
October 18, 2006 at 10:22 pmGorgeous puppy!
It reminds me of my dog when she was a puppy. So adorable.
October 19, 2006 at 7:43 amAw! She’s cute! I love golden retrievers! Congrats on getting a puppy, my parents would never agree just like that
October 19, 2006 at 11:28 pmAnd she will bark, believe me. My 2 puppies didn’t bark either, but when they grew up they wouldn’t shut up =)
@ Mags.
October 20, 2006 at 12:09 amIt doesn’t suprise me, I figured she’d bark eventually. So until then, I’m enjoying the silence
Awwwwwww *want want want*
October 20, 2006 at 3:34 amOh my gosh… Shes adorable! Sasha is a good name for a dog – my friends have had dogs named Sasha, and my uncle did to.. Its a very calming, good name imo! oh I’m so happy for you! and shes so well mannered! Just be sure to realize when she DOES start to chew, she only chews because she is a puppy!
October 20, 2006 at 6:19 amlol give it a few days, it’s still shy. I have 4 dogs…I love animals so much! If the above is a pic of your pooch, omg how cute! Check out dogster.com and make your dog it’s own site! And when you do, let me know and our doggies can be pup pals!

AWWWWW, cute dog, and yeah enjoy the quiet while you can lol.
And I never knew you had a brother.
October 24, 2006 at 12:01 amYour dog is sooooo cute! Awww! Congrats on getting her!
I’ve never seen a dog who is patient and doesn’t bark. You sure are a lucky one!
October 24, 2006 at 3:40 amThat puppy is absolutely adorable. I’ve been wanting to get a pure bred of that breed, but I’ve never been able to find a pup that’s affordable and won’t kill my wallet.
October 25, 2006 at 11:52 pmAww… The puppy’s so adorable!! I wish I had one. XD Don’t worry.. your puppys going to warm up on you sooon. Just need to give it some time to adjust to its new environments right now. =D Then before your realize it, your puppy’s going to start to chew on everything, and you either got to train it, or give it a muzzle. X_X
October 26, 2006 at 5:15 amAhh the puppy is sooo cute. That’s great that it’s already trained.
October 27, 2006 at 7:16 pmomg how cute!!! i wish i had a dog!! lucky you
