Here’s the good Samaritan, looks away and carries on…

Figured it was time for an update, (I really need to get better at this). Anyways…
During the summer, I had come to believe that when school started, there would be TONS to blog about. It’s pretty safe to say I was wrong. I am counting down until the end of school, sad I know (it started about 3 weeks ago). Since it started, I have been drained and I don’t know why! My classes are cake, but still I come home and sleep until the next day, then its a scramble to finish the homework. A vicious cycle in my opinion.
For this unit in gym class, I decided to take canoeing just to get my S out of the way. (For those who didn’t know‑probaly many people‑in order to pass gym class, you need to take 9 units and for each you gain a letter. So to get your credit, you must get FITS and FIT to finish gym. 2 Fitness, 2 Individual, 2 Team, and 1 Swimming. ) I don’t really mind canoeing, but today was a pain. We were at the dam near my house, and we had to canoe/kayak across the resavoir and navigate through an obstical course.
(Because I have nothing better to do, heres a diagram)
(<sarcasm>Great quality I know</sarcasm>)
I did the kyaking part just fine, but then by the time enough canoes had made it back, everyone already had a partner, so I went alone. Until you do it alone, you don’t realize how hard it is to steer one by yourself!
When I got back to school, I was extremely tired. English then art followed. I FINALLY finished my charcol self-portrate. I HATE doing self portrates (or people in general). The teacher actually hung it up in the multi-media center! (Stupid Mr. Malloy criticizing it, I’d love to see him do one at all!)
Oh well, I’m sure you love reading about days when nothing out of the ordinary happens.
For those of you who were wondering, the title was taken from Chumbawamba’s song “The Big Issue,” one of my favorite songs. I couldn’t think of anything, so I resorted to stealing. Oh well
EDIT: How could I forget this. So dumb, yet so strangely entertaining…
Eep. An obstacle course. That must have been hard. Lol, the diagram is still decent, though.
I hate making portraits too.
