Blogging & My braces

Over the last few days, I had my confidence broken for an extremely stupid reason. And with that, I ended up deleting the entire site and started over. I wrote my entry about “Jim Jones” and originally called it ‘My First “REAL” post’ and to be quite honest, thats a load of shit. Why i listened to a stupid person on what blog content should be, I will never know. Infact according to Wordpress.org a blog is

“Blog” is an abbreviated version of “weblog,” which is a term used to describe web sites that maintain an ongoing chronicle of information. A blog is a frequently updated, personal website featuring diary-type commentary and links to articles or other Web sites. Blogs range from the personal to the political, and can focus on one narrow subject or a whole range of subjects.

Many blogs focus on a particular topic, such as web design, politics, sports, or mobile technology. Some are more eclectic, presenting links to all manner of other sites. And others are more like personal journals, presenting the author’s daily life and thoughts.

With that being said, the blog is MINE and its my decision what I write in it. At this point, I could care less whether or not I get thousands of visitors, or even if my coding is “up to standards.” I have always seen it as if it works in “most” browsers, I’m doing somthing right. I do the blogging and web design in my FREE TIME as a HOBBY. And to be honest I do have a life and I do not plan to spend every waking moment for the rest of my life trying to have perfect coding and reach thousands of visitors a day. Don’t like it? Go screw yourself.

And now for my braces :yuc1:
For the last couple days the wire of my braces has been moving to the right, like it normally does. But for the last few weeks the wire has moved really far over. Infact it looked somthing like this.
Teeth So because there is so much wire on the one side, it keeps stabbing the side of my mouth and it SUCKS. So i decided to cut it (and succeeded I might add :) ) You’d be suprised at how hard it is to cut brace wire. Oh well. :D

How long have you had your braces? I get that a bit too. It stabs into my gums & it really hurts.. but not THAT far! I got mine august 2005.

I have had my braces since (lets see its 2006 now, im in 10th grade . . .) about 2001. It sucks.

ouch! your braces look like that they would kill heaps. yeah, braces wire would be hard to cut. hope it stops the pain!

So wait… instead of going to your dentist and complaining about how the wire is moving, you cut the wire?

Because I think that would have been the better route to take, since you’ll probably need that wire or something. At least you’d think that…

Well, the fact that the dentist is away for the next month and the dentist is about 70 miles away, it was kinda out of the question.

And to be quite honest, I have the chains on that pull the teeth, and theres nothing wrong with them, so in reality, it really didn’t do anything but take away some of the pain from the sharpness of the wire piercing my cheek.

New site looks good, love the wordpress theme. And well done for figuring out this was your site lmao. I thought it was someone else’s site, d’oh, silly me. And I’m sorry for saying what I thought it my review, I never knew you would take it to heart so much, I should have seen what would have happened if I had said go jump of a bridge. So next time you get a review, just say hmm, take in the things you want to fix and ignore the rest, that’s how you get by in life.

yeah its hard to cut them! did you call the orthodontist the next day? they will want you in ASAP because teeth move fast :P after a while of my wires fuckin around and then me decidign to just pull them out everytime they messed up, they made loops around my back brace.. lmfao so you might want that, tis way less painful!
